Summer 2012 Prices

We are now about to enter the summer season.

The winter has been kind and has allowed us to undertake some essential maintenance work on the Lochans. We have removed the trees from the bottom Lochan, opening up the whole side opposite the Bothy. We have also cleared the tall weeds from the edges of the Lochans.

We are in the process of putting gravel on the sides of the Lochans to help with ongoing maintenance. Until the gravel is trodden in, please take care as it can be slippery.

We have also had to review our prices! The cost of our fish has gone up in the last month. In addition, like everyone, all of our other costs have risen (electricity, insurance, etc). As in previous years, we are trying to keep our charges to a minimum. To that end, the only prices that we are increasing are for tickets where two or three fish are taken. We hope our regular visitors appreciate our efforts to contain costs - we aim to maintain the quality and quantity of the fish that we stock, whilst continuing to provide free refreshment etc.

In response to feedback from customers, we are also reintroducing six hour tickets.

The new prices are on the website.
