Most of the top lochan is now clear and the bottom lochan is starting to thaw. Fish are showing on the top.

Fishery Update - Sunday 23 December

About a third of the top lochan has thawed overnight and the current temperature means more will thaw throughout the day.  It is not exactly Eskimo fishing but we have opened the gate for anyone looking to add a trout to the Christmas dinner table!
