Lochans Remain Closed until Monday 20 February

Most of the ice has now thawed from the lochans, but the banks are very wet and we are concerned that they will quickly become muddy. In addition, the Bothy is still "recovering" from a burst pipe and consequently is out of service.

We plan to carry out some maintenance work on the banks and trees around the lochans over the next few days and intend to reopen on Monday 20 February. The weather forecast for the weekend is mixed and we recommend that you check the blog on Monday for an update.
