Thirteen anglers competed in Heat 4, and a lot of fish were caught and taken in the first peg. Jamie MacGregor took both of his fish during the first twenty minutes of the peg (4lb 7oz and 2lb 4oz).
Jamie's bag of 6lb 11oz proved to be the best of the day, with Ian Woolley second and Alan McMurchy third. Jim Dick won the bottle kindly donated by Dean Geddes for the biggest fish outside of the cash prizes.
Jamie's heat victory consolidates his position at the top of the leader board, with Alan McMurchy second and Jim Dick third. With three heats remaining, 12 anglers can still win first prize.
Heat 5 of this year's competition is on Saturday 6 September at 09.00.
