2025 Dunlichity Cup Heat 5 Results

12 anglers competed for the fifth heat of this year's competition.  Laurie Docherty and Paul Carey made their Dunlichity Cup debuts on a day when conditions were perfect - a nice temperature and slightly overcast.

Debutant Paul Casey led the way in Peg 1 with a lovely fish at 6lb 15oz.  Alan McMurchy, Dean Geddes and competition leader Jamie MacGregor all had good two fish bags but were unable to beat the mark set by Paul Casey in Peg 1.

Paul won the heat, Alan McMurchy was second and Dean Geddes third.

With two heats left, Jamie MacGregor is still out in front by 6 points from Alan McMurchy. Mathematically, 5 anglers can still win this year's Cup.

The sixth heat of this year's cup is on Saturday 11 October at 09.00.
